Your typical summer day consists of 12 to 14 hours. You should get the salary you want when you start this company because raises are very difficult to get unless you make the company a lot of money. The official company policy about paid training is that you have to wait one year, but unless you know some one high up in the company it is not going to happen. Vacation time is not available until you have lasted one year. (GOOD LUCK WITH THAT) After one year you get 5 days, but you cannot take vacation during daylight saving time. As a technician you are used, abused and then tossed away like the daily trash. There is a common belief that there is a never ending supply of qualified technicians. Communication between the technician and management is poor at best. I worked for the company for 6+ years and was terminated for being rude to one of the clients employees. Be mindful that I had never been counseled, verbally warned or written up. My best suggestion to any one looking for employment with CMS is: get in learn as much as you can as fast as you can. Use and abuse this company because they are going to do it to you.
