Had a lot of autonomy and latitude to perform job duties. Good pay, good product and customer base! Great growing industry with a huge upside. Best part was developing relationships with new RV dealers in multiple states. Hardest part of job was being on road.Monday through Friday!Company had lack of management consistency.
Pay, flexibility, Product
Lack of communication, inconsistent leadership
Everyone knows your business thanks to management. They always hand out rewards to keep from giving raises. They will have you doing work you are not skilled for nor compensated for then you will get in trouble for insubordination if you refuse to do the work you are supposed to get raises for. They only use you then find any reason to drop you. They blame everything on the call takers. This is a roadside job to dispatch for roadside assistance however if a mbr is on the side of the road they will approve a 3 hr eta if the cost is right. They only think about saving money for the company. The leads and managers believe that you have no right to tell them no. They lie right to your face. They never communicate between each other. Anything you tell a manger or team lead will get back to the whole call center. They will keep people that need to be fired only to have people answer the phones. They will drop you during slow season for no reason but to keep the year end bonus.
If you love being micro manged, confused about who's in charge, or want to be punished with absolutely no explanation, this is the job for you! In the past few months more than half of the staff has quit due to the terrible management and unrealistic expectations. There's no consistency, no incentive, and the work environment is akin to walking on eggshells around an abusive partner. Oh, and you want to get a direct answer or advice from a manager? Forget about it. You probably won't know who your manager is anyway.
You'll meet some of the greatest coworkers of your life
Low pay with no raise for years, unclear tasks, no opportunity for advancement
Coach-net is a small family owned company. They care about the employees and have a fun work environment. Currently were decorating our departments for a Halloween contest. It is a high stress fast paced job tho, so its definitely not for everyone. But If you can handle it there's lots of room for advancement as Coach-net prefers to promote from within whenever possible.
Flexible "band" shifts
High stress durning busy times
Fast paced environment meeting needs of stranded motorists. Learned proper requirements for motor coaches and dispatching correct type of equipment. Workplace was very fast paced. Supervisor was always available when agent needed assistance. Most enjoyable part of job was helping people in a stressful situation. Called customers to make sure service was handled to their satisfaction.
Loved my schedule.
Company moved to Texas
Ready computer for day's shift. Take incoming calls from members for roadside service. Insure services were completed. Most difficult was working with panicked or angered members. Locating members on the company's computer may system and locating a service provider available in area and timeframe to arrive at service location.
Decor of work area & in-house lunchroom
lack of management flexibility & being micro-managed

Jobs at Coach-Net
This job is perfect for someone who is very independent and doesn't have children. You get to travel to your territory Tuesday through Thursday, stay in a nice hotel, with room and board paid for. The remainder of the week you work from home. I loved this job because it gave me full flexibility with my family life, but I hated leaving my children for three or more days every week.
Coach-Net definitely had a hand in making me grow up quickly and mature faster. This job was very stressful and every day was never the same as the previous one. My job was to dispatch road service to individuals who had broken down, either in a car accident or just ran out of gas. Not every call was stressful but hearing a sense of urgency in someone's voice with a child screaming in the background and cars whizzing by can make almost any individual feel stressed. The best part of this job was being able to get these individuals help and to a safe location, and having them call back with a smile in their voice and full of thankfulness.
helping complete strangers and talking to customers, learning new programs, and free road side assistance with free gym membership
communication with in the call center was never the greatest.
Was a good company to work for. Had good managers, good teams, great organizational skills, good policies, small but respected and growing company so one could move up the ladder quickly.
good managment, good ethics, room to grow in the company
company moved states and left some workers behind
