Coca-Cola Consolidated selected this as a representative review
I loved working there!! Great environment… Supervisors who actually care about each employees… consistent/decent pay.. there is opportunities from growth!

Pros

Independent working situations, decent pay, flexible hours.

Cons

Can be hard work! Not for everyone.

Stay busy never have to worry about being laid off or getting anything less then 40 hours a week.

Been with the company for almost 3 years and never had any problems here except for getting people to work. Nobody wants to come to. Most would rather collect a check and not work because of COVID-19.

Pros

All the overtime you can get.

Cons

No time off from being short handed.

Nothing good comes from working for this company.

First actual “big boy job” out of college. After Covid hit, the work morale of everyone went down the drain. Work environment became toxic, never felt like anyone cared about me as a person, was just a number, was expected to work long days on a base salary pay with being compensated off cases the company couldn’t deliver because of labor/raw material shortage. Not worth it, don’t even waste your time filling out an application.

Pros

You get 2 free anniversary cases of your choosing once a year

Cons

Everything

It was okay

Easy job. Layed back work environment Just printing out orders of various sodas and picking them for store deliveries operating an electric pal jack.

Pros

Cool and Friendly Management, Get to listen to music while working, Sometimes free food

Cons

Not enough hours, Pay isn't great, Have to transfer from part time to full time before receiving benefits

Terrible pay with tons of work

This was one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had. I worked like a dog to get paid barely anything every 2 weeks. I would not recommend this position at all. It was too physically demanding.

Not enough pay wouldn’t let me choose a pallet jack

Not enough pay or hours wouldn’t let me choose a pallet jack no breaks and too high expectations for the money too far of a driving distance rude management

Pros

Food on site

Cons

No breaks

Overworked and underpaid

This job typically works 80+ hours a week. Vacations are virtually non-existent as you are expected to still complete your sales orders for the week you are on vacation. Zero work/life balance.

Pros

Reimbursed for mileage

Cons

No actual vacation, use your own car

Understaffed and overall a horrible place to work especially while trying to go to school

Grossly understaffed to the point of working 6-7 day weeks with upwards of 10 hours a day with just barely enough time to spend with family and friends. And you can forget about any hobbies because not only will this job not give you the time for it but it will absolutely kill your motivation on any form of self improvement, you won’t ever get help in any Situation unless you’re buddy buddy with another merchandiser.

Pros

Decent pay, and plenty of hours if you want, as well as good benefits

Cons

No form of physical or moral support, no sympathy from any management, no time to enjoy life as well as many more

Great place

Good place to start out as a driver fast paced but high reward nothing like working at a Amazon warehouse but if your willing to put in the work the pay is definitely there with overtime etc

Pros

Free food on delivery’s to places

Cons

Fast paced

Depends greatly on location

You local management makes all the difference with CCBCC. I worked in two different RSA as a Sales Rep. The first had great leadership and was a great place to work. I moved for family and realized quickly that it was a mistake. The RSM and DSM cared very little about the employees and acted as if we should be grateful they lets us work for them.

Pros

Somewhat flexiable schedule, 2 weeks vacation, benefits

Cons

management, pay

Good pay Poor Environment

There is a lot of stress involved in most positions at Coca-Cola because you are always the "middle person". Stores expect certain things and so does your company and they are rarely the same. There is very little opportunity to advance in a very closed off and tribal atmosphere.

Pros

Goo Pay and benefits

Cons

Bad environment and NO family an time.

Apply Elsewhere

This company treats new hires far better than senior employees. They have taken sick time and cut it in half, removed employees pensions and it now takes longer to add up vacation time. They will make you work every holiday when you use to actually get them off. They will reward slackers while treating hard workers bad. There is no difference in pay for someone with 15 years on the job and someone with 2 years. This is why most people in this area do not work for the company long anymore. Warehouse turnover rate is horrendous for this exact reason and management cannot seem to understand it.

Pros

Health insurance

Cons

pay, sick time, holidays, vacation time accrual, management

Good place to work when you are inbetween career paths.

Ok job. Only offer part time work so no benefits or job stability. Ok place to work when your inbetween career paths or at school. Nothing to make a career out of. Turnover rate very high . In my 3 years there I have seen multiple people come and go.

Pros

Free beverages

Cons

Short hours, short pay checks, management

Fun workplace

It’s okay working if you cannot find another job for the same pay and benefits. They offer a rewards program that Is a good way to keep your performance and attendance up.

Good pay and benefits, but it comes at a price.

Worked as a night loader for 5 years. It's great if you're single and don't have kids. Very physical job, definitely a young man's game. Be prepared to work overtime in the summer. My longest shift during the summer was close to 15 hours. It's a team effort to get all the trucks loaded, so you can't really leave until all of the work is done. Some guys take advantage of this and purposely drag their feet to get as much overtime as possible.

Pros

Pay and benefits were fair.

Cons

Most of your coworkers will be guys in their 20's that have a lot of growing up to do.

Money

Cons

No breaks

Strong Culture But Overworked Staff

Company has a strong value-based identity. However, there is a sense of directionlessness in certain areas at the corporate location. Having a ripple effect in the field. Unattainable business goals were imposed on directors and managers without regard for their viability. Very loyal team members were let go quite suddenly, undercutting company processes in key areas such as payroll and compensation. Straining a workforce that was already struggling to meet demands. Leadership at the highest levels seemed out of touch with the ramifications of many decisions.

Pros

Great Culture, Caring Environment

Cons

Workload, Benefits
