MSJ was a great work environment. On 2SE, the residents were always supportive of one another and treated one another like family, and it was very rewarding to know that I helped contribute to that occurring. I listened to peoples problems and daily struggles every day, helped people manage their time, helped with homework, planned and coordinated events, and was always there when anyone needed me. My boss was a wonderful woman who cares more about everyone else than her own life and she always put work first. The hardest part of the job was the hours because people tend to have emotional breakdowns during the night as opposed to convenient times during the day. I loved getting to connect with the first year students and helping them out during hard times in their lives because I truly enjoy helping others and listening to problems.
