I worked well with others and I liked the idea of helping students register for school and to navigate through the CSN system. Upon helping other students, I helped myself with the ability to register for classes.
Part time/adjunct do not get Nevada PERS like full time.

Teaching there is a privilege and massively rewarding experience. However, the dichotomy of no benefits for part time vs. really nice benefits State of Nevada benefits puts you in a day to day second class citizen status. So best to have solid day or night job as well.

If you aren’t in need of a lot of money but more a job to alllow you to comfortably both work and study, this is the job for you. Super relaxed environment. It does get busy sometimes during the semester, the the supervisor and library assistant are both really awesome
