Depends where you are working. From experience working as a machinist, it is terrible. The environment itself, considering you are inside a controlled area, it is fine. Mostly clean. The culture is the horrendous part. You are expected to run, run, run. They do not, absolutely do not, appreciate the ones who are the bulk of the company.

If you are working on the floor, example Machinist, you will work 8 hour shifts. The kicker is, they ask for 20% overtime a month. That is either 6 days a week or 7 days 2 weeks out of the month.

Based on my experience working for Collins Aerospace, they need a lot of work on actually valuing their employees. More so the ones who are in manufacturing and actually making parts. There is no sense of respect or value.

Everything. If you are running machines or the lower lever jobs, you will be expected to reach unrealistic metrics. The pay is an absolute joke with the expectations they have. It is never good enough. They will always tell you to do more and never reflect on the good you have done. All numbers, no appreciation for the employee.
