Manipulative Strategies to Attract Prospective Sales Reps
Candidate (Former Employee) –  Rochester, NYOctober 20, 2017
The Indeed ad stated that a consulting role needed filling. The job is actually an outside sales job for selling non-major benefits to local employers. They do not have a local office, do not offer any major benefits (medical, dental, 401k, PTO, etc), and do not give a base pay. This outfit is slow desperate that they use deceitful verbiage to attract candidates. All four attendees to the group presentation, including me. walked out!
Pros
Flexibility in schedules

Benefits Consultant (Current Employee) –  Johnson City, NYNovember 5, 2013
This is a great opportunity to learn about b2b sales resistance and how to overcome it. In my lower populated, smaller geographical area, b2b sales are something of a challenge.

Does not seem easy to find small businesses to go to. I was at a disadvantage not owning a car, in an area with somewhat irregular public bus transportation.

This company does provide great customer service to the policy holders, the employees of the small businesses. In other more metropolitan areas of New York State agents do quite well.

This job is also commission only and there are first year bonus programs as well.
