What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Columbia University?
Do your research. Know who your interviewing and interview them as well if your looking for longevity, many Administrators will not give you the full picture of what your role will be and what you’ll be dealing with as Columbia is very loosely managed and doesn’t hold many employees accountable for anything
How long does the process take from applying to interviewing to actually beginning work? Trying to get a time frame for applying and starting work.

Depends how your hired officer or non officer, or union , non union everyone gets different benefits and nothing is extraordinary about them they are basic.

The interview process depends on the person and department many will not update you to let you know your a candidate and moving forward or if not being selected. All in All my experience with Columbia has been disappointing and unprofessional
