Spend too much money on equipment and not enough on people. The environment is the easiest to work in but the staff is sometimes under skilled. If remote HR is almost invisible.

Worst company to work for. You are nothing but a number. It's a constant revolving door. I have seen them fire 25 year employees a month before retirement.
Business Account Executive III in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Base pay is low for the S & B division. Commission structure changed twice throughout my career. I didn't see much advancement especially among women. Biggest competition is inside sales and competing with sales within the company. Comcast does have biggest market share however always expects more at the expense of the workforce. I lasted 3 years and had enough of the culture. I witnessed employees develop anxiety and stomach problems from stress.

I enjoyed my time working for Comcast. It was a great company very diverse. Compensation could have been better but not bad as a whole. I would say that this position prepared me well for future opportunities! For that I am grateful! The culture did change for the worse as time went on, I’m not sure if there was a change in upper management that had the most impact on that or the ownership. It definitely wasn’t the same place when I started to when I left.

Second to none culture where half of any leaders evaluation come from their team culture expressed in many different ways. They have a tendency to reorg and make lots of changes so you never feel totally secure.

Interview Questions

The "big question" is "what makes you tenacious" if you're going for BSR role. It's like openly discussed by supervisors after they conduct interviews so be prepared. Thwy also want you to do an on the spot sales pitch, but it's not the most crucial. I had no sales experience and I bombed that part. Just prepare for the interview, come with one page of notes and that will get you a lot of notice. Be on time, and be really friendly and excited for the position.
