Great Place for Everyone
I LOVE working for Comfort Keepers! They offer very flexible hours and the staff is AMAZING! I won’t lie, being a caregiver to the elderly can certainly be hard, and sometimes you feel like it is a thankless job. However, there are caregiver appreciation events once or twice a month to help you remember how special you really are. If you’re having a hard time with a client, the managers and even the owner himself are there to remind you that you’re doing an amazing job and that you are very appreciated. The tasks themselves range from cooking, cleaning, running errands and personal care, so this is NOT a job for someone who is easily embarrassed or feels uncomfortable with that type of work. You also have to be committed, not only to the job and your shifts, but also to your client’s and their well-being. However, you will be fully trained and help is always available when and where you need it, so don’t feel intimidated! Everyone is very supportive of each other. Really, you’re constantly at a family reunion (the GOOD kind) with your coworkers, managers and clients!

The management is awesome. They truly care about the employees and clients. They have great communication and very flexible schedules with competitive pay. Overall a great place to work!!

Meeting new people and having fun with clients
Back in 2012-2013 I worked for CK. I really enjoyed working for comfort keepers. Most of my clients were like family. I enjoyed everyday I had with them. Comfort keepers were very flexible with my hours and I really needed that. At one point in my life I needed some time away from work and they told me I could come back whenever I needed too. And when I decided to go back they were happy to except me back. I even got one of my clients back and that made me very excited. If you want to meet know people and enjoy helping others in need, comfort keepers is the place to go.

Completely corporate run
It's all about the money. They bring on too many clients without enough qualified caregivers. And they blame the caregivers to the families/facilities for mistakes with scheduling.
