If you know your job and do your job you can be successful. Its a great place to work and grow. Its a government job with great benefits. You can go to management and ask for help. People there are close knit -there can be some cliques but that's pretty much at any company. I recommend testing for multiple commonwealth positions and being open to any callbacks and once you're in the company-post and move up and grow if that's your goal

If you want to be placed in a position that you didn't even apply for, only to receive minimal training and get gaslighted into believing you should know everything about the job, this is the place to work! Also, if you enjoy being in an office all by yourself without anyone to talk to or back you up, by all means sign up! At least you're still able to have a life outside of work!

It was a 50/50 place to work. It was not horrible; however, it could be tremendously annoying. There were some decent managers there and at the same time too many were petty, vindictive and spiteful. The salary was exceptionally low, especially when just starting there.

Good foot in the door but no real schedule flexibility. You can move up and move into other jobs after you’ve been there a year or so but those that don’t want to work, get by, those that do, get more work piled on.

The job can be easy, but too often things and policy change on the daily. You finally learn something and boom, the policy and rules change particularly overnight. This makes it hard to do your job. Plus policy is not a good read. It's hard sometimes to figure out what the policy is saying and it makes it difficult to make the correct decision..
