In the five plus years I worked there I only recall one cost of living raise for employees. Each year after there were reasons to hold off on cost of living raises, i.e. expansion costs into rural health markets, low productivity into expansion areas which affected the bottom line for all clinics and investment in clinical trials which depleted revenues. However, Senior Management can and will get annual bonuses even when cost of living raises are deferred for the remainder of company employees.

Long work hours. Hourly staff get their lunch break, but salaried Clinical Providers and managers work long work days with "staff meetings scheduled on your lunch hour and prior to the start of clinic. EMR system is a labor intensive system requiring lots of additional work hours after closing time. No consideration for the additional work hours to complete tasks. Lots of turnover and burn out due to the long hours.
