At one time Community Connections was considered a leader in community mental health services. They can no longer make that claim. Now the focus is primarily on billing and productivity. Turnover of clinical staff is high, including managers and supervisors. The CEO seems to have no clue how to lead other than constantly threaten staff with termination. Senior staff try to buffer her but also seem burned out. This is a company that is slowly going out of business.
Great mission, case managers are dedicated to helping clients, excellent for gaining experience of working with poor and mentally ill
Lack of direction, lack of leadership, management seems to think money is the mission.

Community Connections provides fantastic learning opportunities, which allow you to develop as a clinician. There is a good camaraderie amidst staff and you have the opportunity to get supervision hours for your license.
