Pharmacist (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – August 10, 2018
Excellent place to work at. Great diversity and an excellent environment to grow professionally. Director is very understanding and flexible, I personally never worked with a more understanding individual. Pharmacist/technician team works well together, someone is always willing to help if you have questions. Pharmacy Director is open to new ideas and appreciates input from all employees. Benefits can definitely be better. However good place to work if you are seeking to gain experience and work in a friendly environment.
Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) – 5645 w addison – July 31, 2018
racist racist racist hospital!!! if youre black look elsewhere!!I was more qualified in comparison to my counterparts in the pharmacy; that department is full of people who have worked there for years and if you cant get with the culture they basically throw you out. I received a lot of racist attention as well from the nurses and staff there. terrible place to work- i regret giving them any of my time.
Prefer not to comment (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – July 12, 2018
Seen very poor management and lack of communication amongst employees. Very disappointed with culture. Moral has fallen in hospital and no one cares. Should focus not only on patient satisfaction but employee satisfaction. And no one will be getting a raise, unless you know an executive who will push it through.
Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – June 27, 2018
Great hospital to gain valuable acute care experience for registered nurses. Work and care for a variety of patients and collaborate with other health care professionals. Great training as well for new hires!
Clinical Document Improvement Specialist (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – June 14, 2018
Unfortunately this hospital has not moved forward on the health care continuum. The collaboration between physicians and nurses is poor. Individuals lack autonomy. The facility is poorly maintained from the inside and outside. The garage is falling apart and is dangerous. Safety is a real concern. The infection rate is high. The hospital was almost closed about 4 years ago due to lack of funding. This hospital should be more of an urgent care facility or skilled nursing facility. It is not state of the art. They are not willing to change and are stuck in old ways.
People are always a PRO no matter how bad a place is
no breaks or lunches, long hours, poor working condition, safety issues
Chef (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – January 24, 2018
the work load is simple enough. sodexo is currently running the kitchen into the ground. very poor management and lack of advancement, creativity, and raises. Lack of quality when it comes to food and way over priced. The only chef that still tries is the one i trained to replace me.
Kitchen staff are good, hardworking folks.
no advancement, poor management, Food service director is Worthless.
