Instrument Technician (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMay 16, 2019
A typical day at work was extremely stressful with the case load of surgeries.
I learned a lot about being in a face paced work environment mixed with lots of different personalities.
the hardest part of the job was trying to please each tech, nurse and doctor.
the most enjoyable part of the position is helping people who don't even know what you do for them as far as instrumentation.

Patient Access Representative
Patient Access Representative (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INApril 25, 2019
There are a lot of moving parts and details are key, especially dealing with insurance. Daily contact with patients. Flexibility is key and so is adaptability since things can change. The company is very community oriented and patient first mentality helps make the company stand out.
Pros
cafeteria, Starbucks coffee, friendly employees, pay, Pto, 401K
Cons
30 minute lunches, weekends required until you can change positions

Program Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INApril 12, 2019
Community is a great company as a whole. There were several branches of the network to plug into. Advancement was possible, but difficult. Working in the behavioral treatment was the most difficult and rewarding at the same time.
Pros
Free meals
Cons
Residents could become violent

Hard Work and Management Issues
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INApril 4, 2019
Walking and Driving Cars of patients who need an extremely amount of help and I learned that the Hospital doesn't supply the help you need to make your job easier. Management and Work Culture go hand and hand because the Manager doesn't support his team and doesn't try to make changes so his workers can do their job better and more efficient. The hardest part is watching people struggle with not having better service. I only enjoyed this job when people could understand that I was putting extreme effort to help them even though I didn't have help from co-workers or management.

Accounts Receivable Professional Billing Manager (Former Employee) –  Castleton, INApril 1, 2019
My current position was very fast paste, although most of the time it seemed doable at the end the demands were not obtainable. No room for growth without a college degree.

I learned that my moral beliefs were not appreciated by my immediate director

New management was not on the same page as the visions that the CEO spoke of.

The government payers was the most difficult for my position.

The wonderful staff that I was honored to work with was the most enjoyable part of the job.
Pros
remote work when time allowed
Cons
no time to take breaks or lunch breaks on most work days

Dietary Aide (Former Employee) –  Anderson, INApril 1, 2019

Pros
Loved the people I worked with

Patient Services Representative (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMarch 24, 2019
Loved what I did but too many changes in department everyday. Should work with employees more to make department work. Employees make a department and managers should try to listen to them and actually implement their ideas.
Pros
Good insurance and hours.
Cons
Home life not important.

look elsewhere if you are Conservative or Christian.
Mental Health Clinician, (MH Specialist) (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMarch 21, 2019
Horrid management. Incompetent yet politically aligned to management so they had no worries. Mirco-managers, hostile to conservatives and Christians. Will try to get you to leave if you aren't on their 'team'. Don't trust anyone there.
Pros
tuition help
Cons
director of nursing and her boss, simply evil.

Growing healthcare organization
Outcomes and Performance Manager/ Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMarch 8, 2019
Network priorities and goals were constantly shifting due to the volatility of healthcare. The organization empowers management to lead staff effectively and give each person as much information as possible. Communication is slow but accurate when received. There's a strong sense of family and community at Community Health Network. The organization has multiple ways to help employees, their families, and the community in times of need. The organization is making strides to not be as compartmentalized and be more inclusive. Community also looks to help employees engagement through new programs and actively seeks feedback.
Pros
Employee engagement, benefits, location
Cons
Poor communication, poor goal setting, poor job clarity and advancement

Intensive Care Manager (Former Employee) –  Wallingford, CTMarch 7, 2019
On paper this job is great, however, it's not about the patient or making a difference, it's all about documentation...it's tedious and the supervisors are so micromanaging it's obsurd.

PSR - Patient Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Pendleton, INFebruary 28, 2019
It was a very high paced environment. A family practice with two DO and two NP's. I made a few friends there that made the days pleasant. The patients were great and some seemed like family.
