Registered Nurse - Clinic (Former Employee) – Munster, IN – May 30, 2018
Enjoyable work environment. Direct supervisor was responsive, supportive and capable. Co-workers were wonderful. Unfortunately, the particular clinic I was working in lost four employees in the last year due to the behavior of the attending physicians.
Pharmacists and pharmacy techs should avoid this place at all costs
Pharmacist (Former Employee) – Pharmacy – March 2, 2018
There is so much turnover for both pharmacists and techs at Community. The management here is absolutely terrible and creates a very hostile environment in an already stressful pharmacy. HR obviously sees all of this turnover and hears all the complaints from staff, but nothing ever gets better. If you are desperate for money then this could be a temporary position, but it will be a miserable couple of months until you find your next job (It's much worse than I'm letting on so hopefully you won't have to work here temporarily either.). Good luck!
With all this turnover you'll get to meet a lot of new people
With all of this turnover you won't know those people for very long. Management is a huge negative
EVS Assistant II (Former Employee) – East Chicago, IN – February 17, 2018
Working in EVS in this hospital can be stressful and is most notably fast paced. The hardest part of this job was working in the emergency department because above all else you can get hurt and you can get sick
A typical work day included meeting daily quotas, must be able to work independently but have access to management if needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, management, and administrators.
The work environment is very relaxed and friendly.
Hardest part of the job is being able to resolve customer related issues due to non-payments by insurance providers.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with friendly people and people who where willing to help and assist others as needed.
Office Manager (Current Employee) – Lititz, PA – August 31, 2017
CHS was very stressful. No one to communicate with. No one there to help when needed. Complaints from patients were not taken into consideration at all. Higher ups seemed like they didn't care. I love the people I work with in my office, but beyond that, not good
Great care for the patient's, not so great for the workers
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Davenport, IA – August 29, 2017
Management team really cared about getting the numbers that were needed to pass and continue to receive Federal Funding. There was not much care or concern about the workers being stressed or overwhelmed.
Consistent hours and tried to work on patient care
Office Manager (Current Employee) – Munster, IN – August 4, 2017
Very stressful. Expect utmost output with little upper management input. Do not find time to train but find time to reprimand when what was learned on own was not done properly. Preach patient comes first but if you do work that was assigned to another department watch out for the toes you just stepped on. OUCH
