Very low pay for nurses. They have a hard time keeping nurses because of the pay rate and wants to promote nurses to managers get a manager nurse would work more hours for less money than staff nurse. They offered me $45k to be a nurse manager. I make more than that being staff! Atleast they increased the pay rate when I work there it was $20, now it’s $22. Still low but atleast they are finally starting to listen.

I would listen to my employees and not get mad at them for calling out in a snow storm when their baby sitter cancelled. I gave my notice when Jeanie gave me a hard time about that! This was only a per diem job for me and sorry I couldn’t leave my kids alone for $20 an hour!
