Connecticut.... but you would be wise to steer completely clear of those locations due to very poor HR oversight and executive leadership.

Average benefits including: medical and dental coverage, paid time off, and there is also a retirement plan, but the employer contributions aren't that high.

Make sure you don't annoy or tick off anyone in the HR department because they will surely deny your application and ensure you never get hired here. Even if you're qualified for the position you applied for, HR will automatically toss your resume and application in the trash if you don't do exactly what they say and follow every single instruction to the letter of the law!

P.S. This answer is in reference to Community Residences, Inc. based in Newington, CT. Having never worked for any of the locations in Virginia, I couldn't really tell you what the hiring process in those is like.

The human resources department for CRI, Inc. in Newington Connecticut leaves quite a lot to be desired. They are not fair, approachable, or even civil to employees. Leadership in human resources for this agency is arrogant and full of themselves based upon my interactions with them. The human resources leadership and direction overall isn't very good. The middle management is pretty decent, average skills and mostly fair. Your benefits packages includes medical, dental, vacation days, and flexible spending accounts. These are effective after 90 days employment. The medical insurance here is kind of on the high side. The 403(b) retirement benefit isn't terrible, just kind of average. Vacation time is usually about 8 days per year in your first year, increases progressively thereafter the longer you're continuously employed.
