FINANCIAL RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST (Current Employee) – Lenexa, KS – December 4, 2017
I highly recommend working at CommunityAmerica. The feeling when you first start is such that you would find it hard to believe that everyone is so enthusiastic about working for the credit union equally. Working in this not-for-profit environment creates a culture of "for the member" because, in the end, that's exactly what it is. You help better the financial lives and needs of each member through education, lending, coaching, etc. I have learned an immense amount of valuable skills in Customer Service, Financial, and Relationship Management. The hardest part of the job in this type of culture would be on an individual peer basis, and it is incredibly rare to find someone you wouldn't get along with. The most enjoyable part of the job is the amazing feeling I get at the end of most days where I KNOW I have changed someone's outlook even if it was only just a simple conversation, and it only gets better from there.
