You don't get paid for unused sick time. You get paid for vacation time you've earned that you haven't used. If it's the middle of the year and you've only taken a few days off, you will earn that. however, if it's the middle of the year and you used ALL vacation time (basically borrowing ahead) you owe that back. You forfeit any incentive pay you earned (teller referral incentive from previous quarter). Your benefits end on the day of your last paycheck, even if you haven't been working there for a few days at that point.
