Sop Operator in Ogden, UT
on October 3, 2022

Compass minerals has room for advancement if you apply yourself. Management is not so great and training sucks. Good pay rate but not compared to other industrial type jobs that are out there. Hours are long and the work can be tedious at times. Co workers seem to let their personal life affect their work attitudes.

Haul Supervisor in Ogden, UT
on November 11, 2022

Terrible company to work for upper management treats her people like dogs they say they’re all for the people when in fact they’re not if you have put time in this company the longer you’ve been there the worse they treat you they say they want you to stay when in fact they do not upper management has no grip on what is right or what is wrong they just do whatever they want I would not recommend this company

Machine/ Warehouse Operator in Ogden, UT
on September 25, 2022

If you are not willing to be talked down to or treated like you are less than the people above you than I highly suggest avoiding this job, at least with the MAG department. I wasn’t “man enough” apparently when I decided to stick up for myself and take steps towards letting management know what was going on. Of course nothing changed and that’s the #1 reason I no longer work there.

Shift Supervisor in Ogden, UT
on September 24, 2022

This is a great place to work if you want lots of money. That is only upside. Management will work you constantly on your days off on mandated overtime salary or hourly. So you get few days off. They will put you on a schedule you don't like and you have to deal with it regardless of your opinion. They give unrealistic expectations as a supervisor and will hold you to it even if you are short staffed. You will be ridiculed for everything you do and receive no compliments. If you decide to work here, hourly is the only way to go. Good pay, decent benefits, not so great schedule depending on what you're forced to do. Expect to work whatever they need.

Laboratory Technician in Ogden, UT
on September 23, 2022

The quality lab is an absolute joke. Samples are way too close together for anyone to get them done with any sort of reliability. Management knows this but it doesn’t matter. Just type in the number they want and you’ll be fine. Leave the disasters for the next person coming on shift.
