More aggressiveness on increasing the census. Since this is very poor it is creating a difficult time in making a living for their employees.
Actually have compliance follow up on complaints and concerns when they are mailed to them.
Actually have policies and procedures that are up to date and reflect the true role of the job position including differences in your EMR! Training new employees on the EMR system and procedures detailing exactly how the work must be done is vital and is not addressed appropriately at this company at this time. New employees are frustrated by this and the procedures seem to change arbitrarily without any written documentation to the frustration of all employees.
Staff appropriately, inservice regularly, and offer incentives for signing on and yearly bonuses for nurses. Give a little so people stay.
