Good People but a Bad Management Culture
Company's support staff was perpetually in firefighting mode, and was never able to flip into a good planning and project mode as long as I'd been there.
The communication was very poor between departments, and there was often no unified management buy in regarding key issues that needed to be addressed.
The hardest part of the job was trying - more ... to work around the lack of consistent standards and the fluctuating processes, and lack of change management.
The most enjoyable part was that there were some very good and talented people there whom I was able to learn new IT skills from. - less
ProsAbove average PTO and vacation, fair compensation.
ConsPoor collaboration and culture overall.
