I left because after 16 loyal, highly commended service years they hired an outside efficiency company that said I had to have my salary slashed to a value $3000 a year less than what I had been HIRED at (a $19,000 reduction in my pay).

Company has 0 cared about the field employee's. They constantly reported quarterly growth and record profits but somehow managed to to cut bonus systems, pay and recompense for personal expenditures for job reasons (such as mileage reimbursement).

When doing a large hiring wave, have a training regiment prepared for every contract. Management needs to be available to take responsibility for issues and there needs to be a system of resources available to help you other than Skype.
