Overall OK

Low pay for the stress level. Inadequate staffing and long work days are the norm. I wouldn’t recommend the company to someone with healthcare experience.

Nice people, benefits are so so. Can't really complain.Repetitive task, mediocre life. Not so much diversity.Work under supervision. With action comes quality assurance. Like under a microsocope.

Concentra does not care

Concentra does not care about their employees. You are just another body to warm the chair. The show favoritism . Don’t work for these ppl unless you wave to be enslaved.

It started out with a lot of potential but it wasn’t a positive environment. I personally was not a great fit.

What is the best part of working at the company? The systems are designed to be user friendly What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Management and lack of proper training. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very toxic, a lot of gossip and favoritism. What is a typical day like for you at the company? You are either steady or slammed. So be prepared to take on a full day of work. Because metrics is a big part of the culture here.

Okay

Okay place to work. Limited support. Good to start your career but not much clinical or advancement. High productivity requirement often questionable clinical reasoning.

Turn and burn patience

What is the best part of working at the company?Overworked underpaid .. micro management…too many rules that just don’t make sense. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Pt load spiked back will tell you it’s easy when you first start… 45 patients which includes follow-ups. The patients and physicals is a bit much. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Micromanagement, no employee value. Just turn and burn pts… the company cares about volume onlyWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?Again, see prior comments… no employee value just pure volume

Inept management, micromanaging leadership and low morale if you can find better apply and work there. Always a high turn over and pay is low for the amount of work that is required.

job description it's not true

The job description is not true, when you go to the interview, they tell you about other duties that were not explained in the announcement. Be careful, the job is not recommended for RN, it is very good for NP.

Pros

shift

Cons

everything

so so

Working as a medical assistant provided a rich and dynamic experience in the healthcare field. The role offered a balance of administrative and clinical tasks, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the medical practice. The direct involvement in patient care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and the opportunity for skill development made the job rewarding. However, the challenges, including the fast-paced nature of the work and emotional demands, should be considered. Overall, the experience as a medical assistant was valuable in terms of professional development and contributing to the healthcare team's efforts to deliver quality patient care.

Great company and culture

Enjoyed my time working on the sales team. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the downsizing they went through with outside salespeople. Also new leaders were micromanaging. I believe it was isolated because leadership prior was great.

Always understaffed, poor managment

Always understaffed and under poor management. The upper management does not allow you to hire until it’s to a point of we need help and are not getting sufficient help. It’s quite ridiculous. I’d never work here ever again. It’s a vicious cycle that never gets resolved.

It’s a very negative environment but the company definitely tries its hardest to soften it. It’s just the nature of the industry.

What is the best part of working at the company? There is a ton of information that is easy to access so employees can get most questions answered quickly without even having to wait for a response from a higher up. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The hours. They are very strict about not taking any time off and expect you to work five days a week, up to 11 hours a day. You can not turn away anyone that walks in until 5pm. That means you start at 7:30am and sometimes don’t leave until 7pm.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Everyone is respectful and polite as it should be in a working environment. Higher ups are supportive. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Extremely busy!!! Patients do not stop coming in and they get very angry about waiting.

Worst Job I ever had!!!

What is the best part of working at the company?I've been a PT for over 20 years. This was the worst job I have ever had. You get no help from management. Patients wait hours to see the Doctor's which in turn makes them hostile to the entire staff. Ask management for help and they threaten to fire you if you don't do what management says. I could never use PTO as I was the only PT on Staff. Worst job EVER. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No help, constantly being told that I was going to be let go. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Everyone who worked at Concentra weither it was in Flagstaff or PHX. Want to quit after a few weeks. Turnover was crazy l. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Show up read a Email about how the therapy department was going to be shut down unless I made everyone come 3 times a week for as long as possible. Sit there waiting for patients. Who were told to come to PT anytime they wanted. The patients were told to ignore the schedule. Take a phone call at the end of the day stating that I was good by to be let go. Even though I reached out for help and performed all the reports daily to show what the problem was. Next day same thing

Worse place I've ever worked

Concentra offers no teamwork whatsoever. If you dont join their cliques, then you're ostracized, hence the sign on bonus to attract employees. Time spent with patients is timed, so if you take too much time (even with the difficult cases), you get written up. Its all about their bottom line...not patient care.

Pros

It was close to home

Cons

Poor training, no employer loyalty
