Focused geoscience employer
Company culture is fractionated—business units don’t always work together, and can be at odds. The lower level employees were great, but mid-level and senior management was focused on cost above all else. Pays lip service to safety culture, emphasizing it where it isn’t that critical, cutting corners where it can be.

People are generally great, but internally competitive group to group.

Ok place to work ConocoPhillips management unbearable
Was contract labor..and had site lead person Harrased and belittled and act outwardly rasicist to me in front of people of color cause he was Portarican and a over paid tool bag who should have stayed managing the zoo..they promote fairness and safety and at the same time use those tools to punish and terminate those they dislike or company's they want gone

Bad when oil prices are high, unbearable when they are low.
Totalitarian managers, lack of understanding and respect for those doing the work. Especially in certain technical fields. People skills are atrocious at certain levels. Technical understanding of managers borders on complete ignorance at times.

Horrible company to work for
Filled with snakes worms and weasels who think they know everything under the sun yet they know nothing of how oil is actually extracted out of the ground.

Overall, great company to work for.
Great pay and benefits. Great people. Cyclic nature of the oil industry can be difficult. Company is shrinking and ability to develop has been limited
