No upward mobility programs or mentoring programs for advancement or retraining. Publications outdated. No new publications since the 90's. New products on the market and there are no publications or standards for them.
Being a small agency the CPSC does not have room for advancement in any career ladder. In addition, the HR department runs the agency and will not execute personnel actions that are recommended by your immediate supervisor. Instead of being HR friendly, their mentality is to stop personnel actions rather than execute what is recommended for excellent performance.
