Tremendous lack of sales leadership and product knowledge

Contegix is a young company and really is run by their capital investment firm which largely drive the executive management decisions.
In the beginning, they sounded like they had good intentions for the sales team, but due to a complete lack of knowledgeable sales leadership, morale was low. The sales quotas were unrealistic and not at all attainable. They have a severe lack of sales solutions technical talent and product knowledge support which hurt sales team's chances to win or even keep key customers.
It was a losing battle to try to win new customers while some many current customers were cancelling in droves.
