Raises are given based on merit annually to FT and PT people but are generally less than $1/hr. Many less than $0.40/hr. Per firms are not eligible for raises
13+ hour shifts without ONE break. Put on “false” error report so they have an excuse to give you the boot. Cut throat and dramatic. You’re left wondering at the end of each shift, if you’ll have a job the next morning.

You earn PTO which covers sick days and vacation time. However your manager is allowed to decide whether an absence is excused or unexcused. I was sick 4 days, 2 days each for 2 illnesses in a nine month period and was told since I didn’t have a doctors note for any of them I had enough “attendance points” to be fired. They want you to call out of work and then come into work and be seen in the clinic and have the provider on tell you and give you a note not to come to work.... yeah that makes sense.
