I would recommend this job, just have to be a strong nurse or RCA
Licensed Practical Nurse (Current Employee) – NUrsing – November 29, 2017
I have worked there for over 7 years, seen a lot of nurses come and go, as well as good RCA'S. You have to really enjoy nursing and making a difference in the lives of the resident and family member to work at this facility. There are good caring and compassionate staff and ones that want to work and do there job well. The pay is not the best neither the insurance, so not the best incentive for staff to come and stay, when you can make 2 or 3.00 more an hour somewhere else, so staff turn over is constant and the work load can be very heavy at times.
Staff that is there are caring and compassionate staff
Upper management doesn't show much appreciation for long term staff. Pay not the best, so no incentive to keep good staff.
