Poor Benefits and Pay Rate
Housekeeper (Former Employee) –  Robbinsdale, MNFebruary 12, 2018
Benefits are not the best especially if your looking for an company to retire with. Their pay is sucky and they rarely give out raises...no matter what length of time youve been employed with their company. Their thing is, " It is what it is."
Pros
Their isn't any
Cons
Low Pay Rate

Was an ok place until they got an new nurse
Resident Care Assistant (Former Employee) –  Robbinsdale, MNNovember 30, 2017
Copperfield was a better place until they hired a snotty RN for the Lodge memory Care unit this year. She wears pounds of make up and have an attitude with you when she didn't have time to put any on before she rushes to work.
Pros
Overtime, schedule, residents are nice, Manor programs for the residents.
Cons
Short staffed everyday, snobby RN (Lmc), low pay for hard work, barely get meal breaks, write ups for stupid reasons, inexperienced RN Lmc unit.

I would recommend this job, just have to be a strong nurse or RCA
Licensed Practical Nurse (Current Employee) –  NUrsingNovember 29, 2017
I have worked there for over 7 years, seen a lot of nurses come and go, as well as good RCA'S. You have to really enjoy nursing and making a difference in the lives of the resident and family member to work at this facility. There are good caring and compassionate staff and ones that want to work and do there job well. The pay is not the best neither the insurance, so not the best incentive for staff to come and stay, when you can make 2 or 3.00 more an hour somewhere else, so staff turn over is constant and the work load can be very heavy at times.
Pros
Staff that is there are caring and compassionate staff
Cons
Upper management doesn't show much appreciation for long term staff. Pay not the best, so no incentive to keep good staff.

Good place to work
RN (Former Employee) –  NursingOctober 13, 2017
Copperfield Hill is a good community for staff who care about their residents. Current management is attentive to problems and willing to listen to employees and residents concerns and questions. They have made a lot of updates on the building itself. Pay is good. Overall would recommend working here.

Recognition from management, flexible

Pros
Light work most days

Stay away
Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Robbinsdale, MNNovember 25, 2016
Managements are LAZY, they put all the responsibilities on their staff and the staff are over worked. Everyone plays the blaming game. There is no leadership and poor communication. Raises are horrible, you'll be lucky if you even get one.
The pay is too little for all that you do and for all that they want you to do.

CNA (Current Employee) –  Robbinsdale, MNJuly 29, 2016
There is No room for advancement, the rules are always changing, poor managnent, and poor pay. You are not valued to this company unless you're saleried. So many things could be improved at Copperfield.
Pros
Wonderful relationships with residents. Flexible scheduling.

Run, don't walk
CNA (Former Employee) –  Robbinsdale, MNJanuary 14, 2015
There is no room for advancement and they do not provide the proper training. They are too quick to make change and don't think it through - thus hindering any real advancement for their company. You are disposable to them, and loyalty is not honored here. Management is the worse I've ever experienced. The company has a bad reputation and it's for good reason - listen to what you hear in the public.
Pros
The residents are amazing - that is afterall why we're in this business
