Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – June 3, 2019
During my employment, I learned the ins & outs of an inner city outpatient facility. There was a high rate of turnover. Management was all about numbers and money & not quality of care. Lower level employees (receptionists, admin. assistants etc...) were treated as disposable & invaluable.
Medical Assistant OB-GYN Department (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – January 12, 2019
Never would've left if it wasn't because of a medical problem that is now resolved. I would love to go back!! The hours were great and so were the benefits. Loved the department and employees I worked with.
Great place to work and plenty of room for growth!
Outreach Medical Case Manager (Current Employee) – New Haven, CT – November 12, 2018
The people there are very friendly and caring. There is plenty of room to grow and advance to other positions within the company. Management is very understanding and looks to make you feel very comfortable with your position.
Referral Specialist (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – October 2, 2018
my peers were the best to work with very hard workers that are over looked and by many only because referrals are what was handled not understanding there is a lot that comes with having to handle a referral/s for company wide patients.
Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – January 15, 2018
The Cornell Scott Hill Health Center is located in the heart of hill community and provides the necessary healthcare services to clients throughout New Haven. The organization is truly committed and genuinely dedicated in providing quality service to the public.
Good experience but overworked and under appreciated
Clinician II (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – January 1, 2018
The workload and overall job duties expected from management was unrealistic. It seems their priority was more about fee for service in which is what more about the quantity of care rather than the quality of care. It's unfortunate
Good experience and exposure working in the field of mental health and addiction
Overworked with enormous caseload, unrealistic expectations from management, very difficult to balance personal life
INTERN (Former Employee) – New Haven, CT – November 26, 2017
This was a balanced medical office in terms of work. You had to establish a rapport with the clients because many of them were repeat clients. The computer software was very user firendly in terms of looking up and scheduling patients.
Patient Registrar (Current Employee) – New Haven, CT – November 12, 2017
It is a nice place to work but has constant changes in employees and environment. It is a great place when to learn and gain experiences, although there is change quite often, which makes you learn to be very adaptable.
