Stressful and micro-managed, complete miscommunication with the RM's and DM's, which causes the Store Managers confusion.

The store I worked at was pretty slow, but there were many times I would have to multitask. Sometimes I would be uploading/stocking the shelves and a rush of customers would come in, asking questions, waiting to be rung up, the phone would be ringing and I would have to place special orders. It can be very high paced.

Great, but genuinely needs an educated employee. It’s crucial to have at least one go to employee with an education on products. It’s a tremendous advantage to this company.

Upper management was a joke district manager came in once in awhile wrote down everything wrong with the store, stood at the back door and smoked, talked too much about his personal life. Very unprofessional. Maybe job would have been better if he wasn't there!

Thought I found the perfect job for me ,after 8 yrs in retail, was looking for balance with work / family ,hours sounded great ,upper management does not care about your work ethic, your sacrifices for their company, its simply all about their demands and with little to no support from your DM .Nothing they tell you will come to fruition except accountability from your end only

Don't make sense, because if the manager can't hire she can't fire as well, common and sense. and honesty they should not call them manager because they don't have skills for such a position, the some in salons, they dress unprofessional, they comments don't make sense either, when you have a manager that always say, and said they don't care about the company they are management, sound phony, managers, lol never work in beauty supply, so.

More than fast paced because store managers are not allowed to hire, beyond multi tasking, answer phone assist 2-3 customers simultaneously while ringing a sale and your DM is blowing up the i-pad that only works 1/2 the time because she wants immediate attention. Meanwhile you are interviewing candidates that will never be hired because the manager is expected to do it all.
