Yes, If you're in the technology team. You need to complete 8 hrs. They dont have the concept of core hours but i would like to think like 10-3 is more like core hours. Remember, if you step of for 20 min lunch, you will now have to sit additional 20 mins to complete your 8hrs

To a degree. You can switch to a different time zone - calling in to the Mid West or West Coast but you will get locked in to that. It is hourly so the bigger issue is if you leave early or arrive late for appointments or other it counts against you. Miss a couple hours and your call average drops. They do not account for the fact you were out of the office.
