Stocking cashier

This is one of those things that vary from warehouse to warehouse. I got called on Thursday to schedule an interview that Sunday. I did both my interviews and my drug test in less than an hour that day. Passed my background check by Tuesday, and had my orientation scheduled for the Thursday a week after I got the initial call.

This is for a new store prior to opening. I had 2 interviews, the first was with 2 people. Basic questions about why you want to work there, what does excellent customer service mean, and tell me about time you had to deal with an upset customer, etc. 2nd interview was a few of the same questions, but with a different person, and then pending the outcome of the URINE DRUG SCREEN (no mouth swabbing here) and criminal background check, you got the job.

3 step process

Pretty flexible, but not without recourse. Depends on what manager does the scheduling and department.

Great. Many people start as part time (24 hours a week) but can quickly move up to 40 hours a week. Hours as a morning stocker would be the toughest, it was from around 4 AM - 12:30 PM.

Depends on location(warehouse/depot) and business needs. Part timers will generally work 5-8 hours a day (25 hour/week minimum), and full timers are guaranteed 40hrs a week (8 hour days). There is typically plenty of overtime around the holidays too.

Saliva. Mouth swab for almost 5-10 minutes.

Yes they drug test, a saliva test is taken on the spot during the interview.
