This is the only hotel that I’ve worked for that everything was poorly managed!. Let’s start with the pay. My schedule is from 7pm-7am (front desk night auditor). My pay is only $8- supposedly $7.25 but I had to fought for that because of my qualifications and that’s the only amount I got. aside from working at the desk, it’s my job to finish the laundry wherein they have their laundry person who is very lazy and intentionally not finishing the job so I have ended up doing it, I do set up the bfast in the morning even though the bfast person comes an hr early for her shift, I don’t understand why do I still have to do it?, I clean the lobby, do laundry sometimes, it’s too much hard work for such pay. Leadership and management is worst, in my entire working here I have never been complemented by management aside from guests. No benefits, no opportunity for advancement. Employees who stayed long overpowered the owner and act like owners, very grouchy employees and unfriendly. Bad aura, people talk against you behind your back. Wants me to vaccum at night because they thought I am not doing anything for my shift.- stupid thinking huh. I will never work here anymore. This is in Mississippi.

No respect or appreciation for hard work and years of dedication. Very lackluster management when it came to supporting the employees on a more personal level. It was no excuses, get the job done or you're in trouble...even after a death in my family....
