Hostile company
Hygienist (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 1, 2017
The WORST company to work for!!! Everything is a scam from what they do to patients to their employees. Always trying to scam patients out of money. Upper management is a joke hiding behind keyboards all while bullying employees daily. They belittle, verbally abuse and are completely inappropriate. They lie right to your face constantly. At the end of the day all they care about is money. They do not care about the patients or their employees.

Assistant (Former Employee) –  Poughkeepsie, NYOctober 24, 2017
Horrible work environment. Equipment and computers constantly faulting or not working properly. Instruments would be broken or not sharpened for "lack of budget" while the owner walked around in 500 dollar shoes.
Overall the dentist's and hygienists that are working there are great but they're constantly pushed to sell sell sell and the patients are not treated properly. The main goal is how much money can we squeeze out of the patients.
Pros
The staff works well together
Cons
Owner and upper management are terrible

Stay clear from this place
Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Suffern, NYAugust 15, 2017
As a former employee I can say this is by far the worst place I have ever worked. The problem is Managment not the patients or coworkers. There is no loyalty or protection. Upper management does nothing to make the work enviroment safe. The manager at the Suffern location is horrific. She is a legitamate sociopath. She is extremely disrespectful to her employees and the patients. She knows how to play the role very well and get her way. She can talk her way out of anything even though she is in the wrong. My advise would be to stay far away from this place.

sell..sell...sell
Hygienist (Former Employee) –  Stamford, CTJuly 18, 2017
RUN...FAR FROM THIS PLACE. Very high turnover rate of employees. They also have a location in Stamford, aka Harbor Point Dental. You are EXPECTED to sell all kinds of services; FL2, CHLX rinse/irrigation, prophyjet, arestin, whiten products, sealants for adults, etc. to every pt that walks in the door. Your performance will be reviewed biweekly and your job depends on your production. Bonus is nearly impossible to attain. 1/2 hour for 4 quads of SRP! and if insurance pays for srp every 2 years then you're expected to treat plan regardless of pts' needs. There is no job security...if you don't produce a minimum you will be "let go" When you do meet their production goal; they will increase the minimum the following month...
Pros
a temp job
Cons
management expects you to upsell! it's never enough or "good job"

RUN far away!
RDH (Former Employee) –  Dutchess County, NYJuly 29, 2016
If you love to sell, and patient care is not important to you, then this might be the place for you! 30 min appts for EVERYTHING (including 4 quads of SRP). Monthly meetings with management about how much money (or little money) you are bringing in. Constant pressure to sell services. Non-clinical staff will tell you what type of treatment you should perform on patients. I could go on, horrible place to work.
Pros
There are assistants dedicated to hygiene, so the assistant takes radiographs, helps the hygienist chart, brings the pt back, cleans and sets up the room. Full-time hours with health benefits
Cons
30 mins for every type of appt (unless insurance pays $500.00 or more), obnoxious upper management, micro-managing, pushed to sell services
