More of an oral exam than an interview. Focus on strengths based, addressing mental illness, family preservation and reunification.

Base on ,how badly the employer need you.

Panel Interview.

Basically a questionnaire performed by untrained employees

It was fine, i felt comfortable.

Usually a few months.

Difficult and long.
#1 - wait for a recruitment to open and apply.

#2 - wait about a month to find out if your experience qualifies you to continue the application process.

#3 - take a test, then wait another month for the results

#4 - when you finally do get the results and your "rank" you are simply placed on a waiting list for six months to a year, depending on the position.

#5 - if you happen to be in the top 10% of the ranking, meaning 90% or above in your test score, and get an interview and are selected for the position you then have to go through background AND a medical screening. This could take up to three months, especially if you're an older job seeker and your fingerprints are rejected by DOJ or FBI. If that happens, it will DEFINITELY be three months longer to wait for your first day of real county work.
