I can't speak for all the 1 star reviewers, but my experience has been quite positive, I have fun a d have been promoted twice and I've only been working for CDS for only a little over 3 months. I do my job and get recognized for it, this job is not for everyone, it is demanding at times, but you're definitely gonna get out of it what you put into it!
I’d rather be unemployed than working in this useless company, management is trash , this company is a toilet bowl.
There are not properly educated people, they only care about numbers!!! How much they are receiving and how much the drivers are costing them a great value to the company account. You the driver are always going to be at the bottom of list before them .. even though you are the ones reasons why the company still running. ..
They full of it Do not work there.
To address the issues brought up here:
The first individual, on April 1, 2017: The managers have not been in the truck with the trainer the way you were. If the managers ride with them, they do not behave like that. It is through individuals like you that we would know that something was not working correctly. We have a VERY open policy at the corporate office and appreciate feedback like what you have provided!!! This would be addressed, if it were brought to our attention. In regard to the salary, we do pay a salary, it is for 50 hours; however, if you work over 40 hours you ARE paid time and a half! Our number is 770- 242- 0454.
The January 11, 2017 individual. I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what happened, but we know that our drivers are the face of our company and the ones out "in the trenches" everyday. We believe you are the most important people in our company!! Those of us in the corporate office have absolutely no purpose if you were to disappear tomorrow. Our sole purpose is to make sure you have all of your issues addressed and that we provide you with the equipment and information to succeed.
Since the gentleman from Aug. 2016 has engaged an attorney, I cannot really address that situation. What I can say is: we have an entire team who is here only for the purpose of assisting individuals that have been involved in an accident. We have partnerships all over the country with medical facilities, etc. to ensure our employees are treated and back to normal quickly.
I have been with this company since almost the beginning. They care about their employees. When you grow as fast as they have, you have issues. The point is, when we know about the issues, we fix them. When you grow as fast as we did, you also don't always have the funds to do the things you'd like. Our employees are the ones that earn the revenue for our business. We know that.
We have recently reached a level of stability that has allowed us to start offering programs, like have quick and easy breakfast options for our drivers in the morning. We also had them joing the "Amazon for the Homeless" program that was started online. We gave each station the ability to let the drivers provide blankets, socks and other necessities to those they past each day on the street.
This company has a heart, but it also has to at least break even. If you have a problem, call corporate, they WILL help! 770 -242 -0454
I quit today i have never ever seen a company so messed up,they put u with a trainer that breaks all the rules,he threw packages around broke glass and still delivered the packages,he was a horrible trainer but yet the supervisor think highly of him it took me only one day to figure this company out,and you sure want make much money they work u 50 hours give u a salary so they don't have to pay time and a half, don't think so,but u do what u want but you will see its the most horrible company you will ever work for.
Maybe just the way i see the company, and what they do and how they treat their employees.

They are a terrible company and I highly suggest avoiding them. I worked for them last year, and was involved in an accident driving one of their rental vehicles. They refused responsibility for my doctors visit, and refused to put me on workers compensation. They then told me to "take time off to heal" and then fired me without telling me. I am now dealing with a workers compensation attorney to fix all the issues CDS caused.
