They have most of the standard benefits but they're expensive and cover very little. Affordable for the individual worker but unaffordable for a family plan. Most benefits they offer upon hire eventually get taken away


Earned PTO increases with the years you are employed.


You get no sick days per year out in the field. You get a paid day off on Thanksgiving and Xmas, only. You are given two 8 hour "personal holiday pay" days which you can use any day of the year but do not rollover into the next year. You do accrue PTO hours based off your on-site time but have to put in two weeks notice to use it. In an emergency, say your kid is sick, you may be given a day off but you won't be allowed to use your PTO to make up for the lost hours. Used to be able to rollover your PTO into the next year but a recent change has taken that away. All of the previous years' PTO has to be used by March of the next year or you will lose it.
