Well I would suggest, finding better ways to do team spirit events. I had 3 supervisors the first two were awesome, and the last, it felt like if you did not kiss up to her, you were ignored. She never really lead the team, and it never felt like a cohesive group. it was always alot of tension. I felt like we did good individually and we were the number one team with sales, but the team was always divided, which me not want to work around my teammates. But one thing I noticed, all the other teams would do potlucks, or join in on the company theme contests they had going on. And they worked as a team. Even on my previous teams, My supervisor was the leader, so he made sure we all felt apart of his group, and that we belonged, and that he had our back. It made me feel like I belonged. Now back to my last supervisor. I literally quit, because, I did not like the vibe on the team, we never did anything as a team, it seemed like everyone was competitive against one another, and it begin to feel like a toxic environment. So I think incorporating your team to exercise team activities is good, it allows the team to know each other better, and feel at ease, and it starts with management. If this could be implemented, then I would go back, because this was actually the best job I ever had where I exceeded and was good at something. Cox overall is a good place to work, just did not care for my last supervisor, and her style of management.
