Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Technician in Cox Communications Inc.
Was great not so much anymore
Comm Tech 3 (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - February 4, 2023
When I start e in 2012 the atmosphere was great, management cared about the techs and we had a great sense of team and family. After a couple of the top managers left the new leadership was trash. They dropped raises, took away heat relief time, micro managed to the moon, promotion were based on who you knew, went to church with, partied with and was related too. Company has gone downhill and continues to lose business so look elsewhere

One of the most stressful work environments I've known.
Universal Home Technician (Former Employee) - Virginia - September 24, 2022
The compensation was very good, but I did witness a very sharp inceease in demand for productivity without correlating increase in compensation. Less margin for error in matric requirements. The work is physically more and more taxing, and more stressful. Other than that, opportunity for advancement is there, and very good benefits and pay.

Great pay and the best benefits
Technician (Current Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - December 1, 2021
Great company to work for. Pay is definitely competitive and the benefits are better than any company I've ever worked for. Also you get more PTO than most companies which increases every 5 years you're here. Management is great as well. Company vehicle, phone, laptop, clothes, boots, and tools all provided. The only difficult thing to keep up with is how often policies and certain requirements change. Definitely must be good at adapting to different changes. Other than that my time here has been great.
Pros
Pay, benefits, pto, and 4 day work weeks with 3 days off.
Cons
Constant change
