How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Cracker Barrel? What are the steps along the way?
For a manager role, it can take about 2 weeks. You will apply and have a phone or video interview with a Talent Acquisition Manager and complete a brief assessment, this will be followed by a talk with the District Manager. Offer letters and onboarding paper can take a few days before you are set up for training.
What kinds of shoes are you allowed to wear? I don't want black bulky shoes. Any help on attire?
Almost any style of black no-slip shoes will work. We just want to make sure you have good traction on floors that are sometimes wet or slippery. A lot of places have stylish cute ones!
I work in the Home Office in Lebanon, TN and the environment here is amazing. Our campus is beautiful, the people work hard but are really friendly and helpful, and you have a lot of opportunity to learn new skills. Anything that I have asked to be involved in I have been given the opportunity to do. My resume is growing stronger every day but I hope to never need it and can stay here for a long time. We have a respectful culture and pleasant environment here.
We offer full time and part time schedules and try to accommodate your schedule requests as closely as possible. We are open 364 days per year over three meal periods so there is plenty of work hours to go around! Talk to the local manager today.
If they send you a link for a background check, do it mean they are offering you the job? How long do it take for the background check to come back,
Yes, we only complete background checks for people we want to hire. I apologize if there was a miscommunication. Please call the store manager and discuss the details of the position and start date with them. Thanks!
I had a friend that already worked for Cracker Barrel submit my resume to the hiring manager and the Talent Acquisition Manager.
What would you suggest Cracker Barrel management do to prevent others from leaving?
If Management would show that when needed, they would get in there with the rest of us and get their hands dirty. But if they just sit in the office keeping the chair warm and won’t even leave the chair to call someone to the office is a sign of lazy poor management.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Cracker Barrel a better place to work?
Try not to over work them that burns them out and have a good working staff that way thg hey basically just oversee n improve was heres needed
What advice would you give the CEO of Cracker Barrel about how to improve it?
You spend all that money bringing aboard MIT's and then allow impatient general managers to run them off without investing any of their time to develop them.
