Promote long term employees who deserve it rather than bringing in a new person who has no idea what to do and usually just quits after a few months. I worked in the same position for 4 years with no advancement and watched multiple people brought in for jobs I was easily qualified for.

Stay away from certain GR area facilities. Especially if you are approaching or at 50 years of age. Do not have a an opinion that politically is not the same as the directors, especially right leaning. Don't waste your time offering extra work or overtime because no thanks or appreciation are given unless you are of the chosen 4-5
