Unorganized, unappreciated
Tech (Former Employee) - Lancaster, TX - February 21, 2021
Overall the staff is welcoming and friendly. The head administration is what is terrible, broken and is what keeps cmcl from reaching its potential. There is a lot of targeting people when one disagrees, or stands up for what is right for patients and self. Employees are not appreciated, no raises, no incentives, nothing but "heart felt" emails now and then. Short staffed all of the time! Benefits are terrible, no matching 401 for retirement. The sole focus at cmcl is money, not patient care or safety. Don't have surgery there! I have never worked for such an unethical company! It's sad for the community there because they so need a decent Healthcare facility, and this place has the potential, but the ceo and cfo do not listen to the leaders that THEY have put into place, or the people who are in the trenches to find ways to better the service all around. Very broken foundation, has been from the start.
Pros
Convenient, friendly staff
Cons
High turn over, weak HR, no appreciation

The hardest part of the job is dealing with the constant harassment of all forms. Please be careful if you are considering working at this facility.

Growing Facility
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) - Lancaster, TX - October 26, 2019
This place is still growing and can one day be an amazing place to work at. The patient load can be on average 1:5. The staff nurses are very friendly and nice, but are consistently overworked. Management seems to be constantly changing, and the same issues are never addressed. The computer software is the worst completely outdated and needs to be upgraded. Working chemistry between the nurses and techs could be better. Nevertheless the staff in general work hard to handle the patient load and provide appropriate care.
Pros
Friendly staff
Cons
Heavy patient load

As an employee, you have no voice.
Clinical administrator (Former Employee) - Dallas, TX - October 8, 2019
All the department heads work very close with HR so don’t think for one second your complaints will be heard. Not only that...HR will tell your boss that you complained about her.... and then, pack your desk because you’re fired!!!

No work life balance
Operating Room Nurse (Former Employee) - Operating Room - August 11, 2019
No work life balance, the owner let’s the surgeons work long late hours. The staff is short handed which puts the staff and patients at risk for injuries.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.... Just sickening
Former Management (Former Employee) - Lancaster, TX - November 3, 2015
This organization needs a major overhaul. This will not happen as long as the decision makers are not trained or qualified and in it for their own gain and profit.
No real benefits for employees
Organization stealing equipment form other organizations
Bills not paid --- service interruptions are a part of day to day operations
Horrible reputation in the community
Fraudulent billing being sent to insurance companies
Fire alarm not working
No security
Pros
none that really matter
Cons
horrible practices, bills not paid, excessive and extreme discrimination and retaliation, illegal billing, unskilled and not credentialed employees, family run organization, AP running Human Resources and involved in Administration and Nursing

Run far far away
administration (Former Employee) - LANCASTER,TX - September 16, 2015
WORST HOSPITAL EVER! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! MOST OFTHE MANAGEMENT IS INEXPERIENCED AND HAVE NO LEADERSHIP ABILITIES. Hospital has had several CFO's, CNO's, BOD's and too many clinicians to count. There is no compassion in that place. It is work work and work some more. If you are not in management you do not matter, they will replace you with no hesitation. Jobs are not posted internally;they are usually just given to an existing employees friend or girlfriend.
It could be a great place to work...but it is not!
Pros
None
Cons
Management, Not stable

Nice place to work
Patient Access Team Lead (Former Employee) - Lancaster, TX - July 9, 2013
I enjoyed working at Crescent Medical Center Lancaster. Everyone from hospital president down to housekeeping was very friendly. Everyone was willing to help each other.
Hardest part of this job was getting things ready to open. I had never worked for a hospital actually just starting out. I actually learned more about patient access then I had knew.
Most of the Management was excellent to work for.
I would recommend this place for employment
