Excellent team
Collections Specialist (Former Employee) –  Boca Raton, FLSeptember 5, 2018
Great place to work. I had an excellent team in collections, and we were all team players willing to help each other out. The manager was wonderful, with an open door policy. She was easy to approach and willing to help and advise in a positive way.
Pros
Manager was excellent and easy to approach. Helpful

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee) –  Brownwood, TXAugust 11, 2018
It's a demanding job at times. You do have residents that are picky and like to take up alot of ur time. There are times when other staff like to disappear leaving you to work the hall alone. It can get frustrating at times as well as be rewarding. It's nice to see some staff make a difference in the residents life but just a smile or saying hi.
Pros
Seeing the residents
Cons
Not enough staff coverage

Great Place to Work at First
National Allied Recruiter (Former Employee) –  Boca Raton, FLMay 26, 2018
It was a great place to work until certain upper level Managers were fired and my immediate VP was removed and placed in a whole different area. After those 3 people were gone, the place went down hill and they began to think more of money and numbers than their employees.
Pros
Free Lunches at times for good performance
Cons
Lack of communication

Varied per contract depending on where you were licensed at. The start dates varied depending on your contract. Some times finding a recruiter that was honest and worked for you to get the most money was hard at times.
Pros
ability to make choose salary based on location
Cons
contract work

Fast paced often stressful but relaxed environment. Company is growing so no foreseen layoffs. Good benefits and helpful management. Could have been more of a professional workplace however.
Pros
Competetive pay, relaxed environment

Was a facility in constant transition of leadership
Business Office Manager (Former Employee) –  Brownwood, TXJuly 14, 2017
Facility was in constant transition of Administrator. This proved very difficult to have continuity of care or service to patients and their families.
Pros
tenured staff were highly trained and dedicated
Cons
New administrators often

I learned that you have to be really organized and use your time very wisely if not then you will get behind and get lost because there's so many deadlines to meet

New Corporate HQ
FP&A Analyst (Current Employee) –  Boca Raton, FLAugust 29, 2016
Cross Country is a good place to work for. There is just a lack of communication when trying to move up the corporate ladder. Overall, management is good and there is a good work life balance.
Pros
Good Management and work life balance
Cons
Bad communication

Account Manager and Recruiter (Current Employee) –  Troy, MIMarch 29, 2015
CCH is very flexible with the family/work balance. They allow you to come in late and leave later or come in early and leave early. I have worked very hard to learn- very little training. You really need to be very strong and persistent to get a handle on your job and others. Co-Workers are ok. Very cut throat in recruiting. Everyone for themselves. Do not abide by the rules

The hardest part of my job is building a book of business from ground zero. They lost a HUGE amount of business through the acquisition and now they are trying so hard to gain it back- but with higher rates.

Best part of my job- easy commute, flex hours for family and great benefits. Salary is good too!

Decent compensation
Co-Workers are unhappy- too much change with CCH (acquiring several new companies all at once).
Poor communication among the corporation.
