Great recruiter and supportive staff
Travel Nurse (Former Employee) - Ohio - May 17, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? My recruiter always looks out for me. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The different hospitals that are so understaffed and being a traveler in general adapting to different floors and people you work with is a necessary skill. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Helpful and caring about their employees What is a typical day like for you at the company? Work hard for your money 🎶 so hard for your money

Just okay
Over saturated market and the culture here can make it tough to excel. Overall a great company to work for, but the company is changing and the market seems less than stable.

Wouldn’t recommend anymore
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) - Maine - March 9, 2023
My first contract with Cross Country was pretty smooth. My recruiter wasn’t very responsive or even helpful really, but I didn’t have issues come up I couldn’t handle myself. Second contract was where it fell apart. I applied for another job and when I would reach out to my recruiter for a follow up, I wouldn’t get an answer for days. When the answer would finally come, it was always that she would know something by the end of the day and would let me know. I would never hear anything back. This went on for well over a month. In that time period, I missed out on numerous jobs. Finally, I called their corporate line and asked to speak with a manager. I wanted to switch recruiters. Over the next couple weeks, I was sent to 3 different people, all who I left voicemails with. I never received a call back. I finally went with another company and have found a job rather quickly. Overall, I do not recommend this company. There is no follow up or follow through. To me, they don’t seem to care about their workers because they are still making their big money. Cross Country was not worth the hassle.
Pros
Higher paying contracts
Cons
No follow through, no help, no communication

Good until it wasn’t
RN (Former Employee) - New York, NY - February 23, 2023
I was a travel nurse here. Onboarding is very tedious but once that’s done it gets easier. My recruiter was good until she wasn’t. I was accused of breaking a contract I never signed. I didn’t sign it because the offer initially presented was lower once I was ready to sign and I was given excuses. Aside from they have several staff members working with you and they don’t communicate with each other. For example you will tell your recruiter you’re going to renew your credential on a certain date and then compliance is harassing you daily to renew said credential.

Unprofessional & Unorganized
Nurse (Former Employee) - San Diego, CA - February 9, 2023
Will lowball you with offers of employment. Called with an offer one day and changed the rate of pay the next. Applied for a specific location and was told it was unavailable when in fact it was not.
Cons
unorganized, unprofessional

Den of liars and hollow people
From day one until the last day, it was lie after lie from the top down. There was a false sense of security. In hindsight I regret ever having encountered this company along with all of it so called leadership. Do not trust anyone at this company.
Pros
I left and found a much better company to work for.
Cons
The supervisor leadership from top to bottom

Great place!
RN (Current Employee) - Orlando, FL - January 10, 2023
This is a good company. I would recommend them. You can make much more money as a travel nurse instead of a full time staff nurse. The recruiters are great as well

Not productive
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) - Portland, ME - November 8, 2022
The recruiters ignore your calls, never call or email back, and are always on vacation without notifying you that they are not going to be there for weeks. Payroll doesn’t pay correctly per contract. Always check you pay stubs because it’s never the same or correct. your pay changes without them telling you. When you bring it to their attention, they still don’t pay you what is owed to you. I will never work for this company again.
Pros
None
Cons
Never paid correctly

Good experience
RN (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - October 12, 2022
Good travel agency if you have a good recruiter. I received automatic pay increases if rates went up. I had to change recruiters due to lack of communication and was easily able to.

Travel Company (Former Employee) - Boca Raton, FL - September 22, 2022
Worked for them for 3 years. The recruiter was nice. The pay was not on par with other RN jobs. Have not gone back. Now they merged with an other company.
