Cross Creek is actively trying to improve and they are doing better. They still have a long way to go though. Pay is not that great, benefits are okay, but they are not very flexible with your work hours. They only offer 12 hour shifts if you want to work the weekend, otherwise you have to do 8 hour shifts during the week. They refuse to allow 12 hour shifts during the week. They are often understaffed which can make for some dangerous situations, they are not always very organized, nobody is on the same page about anything so there is always confusion. It has the potential to be a good place to work if they could get organized and pay better, and be more flexible with the scheduling.

Don’t recommend this place as a job or place to receive mental health treatment. Deplorable conditions. Toxic work environment. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

Challenging job. But I love it. And I love my co workers. Probably the best job I’ve ever had. I get to work with some of the most educated and impressive people. Great place to get started in healthcare etc.

Horrible upper management who create hostile work environment Unethical Illegal Not a fun time. The job is filled with Medicare fraud, nepotism, fear of retaliation from The boss CNO and all mgmt if you suggest or push for good Changes

They are always being reported to the state for their unethical procedures and mishandling of patients. I think its a matter of time before they get shut down and/or employees are sued for incompetence. There is a reason for the high turn over rate, workers are there for a pay check and stay as long as they need to or get fired for doing something unethical. Therapists are fresh out of school and don't have any experience or are just there until they are fully licensed. The same for nurses or they are really old and nobody else would hire them. Admin only cares about payment and insurance and unfortunately a patient is judged based on that first and foremost, not their issues that brought them in for treatment to begin with. The doctors also come and go once they know what type of environment they are working in. Where is it ethical for a CEO (Who has no clinical experience) tell a doctor when they should or should not discharge their patient from a hospital after they tried to kill themselves? Not a good place to work for. You can either take this as a warning and think I'm disgruntled (I'm not, I quit after they said I had to work without PPE just to find out my boss quit a couple of days after I did for the same reason). Take my advice and DON'T even consider working here unless you want to be involved in the toxic environment as well. Admin is a joke, nobody in charge knows what they're doing.
