Too much driving , not enough pay, and the app they use is horrible. There are many different divisions you can work in but none of them pay very well. All product is sent to your house so u have to have room for all of it.
Merchandiser in Lafayette, IN
on January 4, 2022
Final straw was being team leader in multiple projects and Crossmark brought in another 3rd party employees to fill the needed amount of merchandisers. After, fixing their work numerous times they made 3.00 more per hour! Won’t even consider a raise but can’t get any employees. District Managers just tell you what you want to hear. When they loose contracts your team might get dropped suddenly.

Fun job. Love my job just not enough hours available in my area to maintain as a second job. Loved the independence of the position and freedom of making up to your own schedule.

Interview Questions

Questions regarding my background and experience. I was looking for something to keep me active, not at the same level as I held prior to retiring. And they were not looking for a corporate officer, just a part time employee that could fulfill the positions expectations.

About previous experience but they pretty much hire any one who applies.

I was hired by another merchandiser who needed help. Would I like to work? Would I like to work nighttime hours?
