Donor Support Technician in Olney, PA
on August 7, 2022
Overall, the company is fantastic with pay, benefits, and overall job purpose. The work you do at any level is truly lifesaving and I was so glad to be a part of the plasma harvesting process. The training took a little over a week and it was online in an office at the center where you got snacks and were paid your full rate all throughout training. The donors that frequent that site are generally very nice people but there are some verbally aggressive donors and multiple donors made me emotionally and physically uncomfortable during my work there. The reason you should stay away from this center is the management is very new and not very helpful in their managing duties which resulted in staff getting away with things they should not be getting away with. Almost all employees are new because the retention rate at this center specifically is horrible and for some reason, this center cannot get it together. The employees who have been there a while or even the new ones talk poorly about donors, the company, and coworkers making the work environment kind of hostile and uninviting to stay. I would love to work there again once they get their staffing together, but would stay away from the Olney location until they finally make the needed positive change they've been working on for years now.

Great company with many opportunities. Starting pay not the best but great benefits. If you want to relocate there are hundreds of centers you can transfer to. Great management that cares about the staff.

There are days that are better than others. There's a lot of work that needs to be done in managing people who work here. Too much drama most of the time, which makes it a harder environment to work in.

Working here can be crazy a lot of times. You deal with short staff. Managers giving you the run around, hiding from their employees. If you have a problem good luck to you. The pay sucks and when you do cross training there will be no difference in pay. Working here is very stressful

The first month of working here everyone was very nice and helpful, well after 3 months everything changed and management started showing they’re true colors, they are the worst unorganized managers I have ever had to deal with. The pay is sketchy and is one of the biggest reasons why I quit. They don’t care about they’re employees at all what so ever.
