Seriously and truthfully: raises are generally annually, with your job performance evaluation. If you didn’t do well over the year, you aren’t going to get a decent raise. I’ve also witnessed market adjustments at random times of the year.

They work around things to their advantage. There is a 1-3 percent that you generally will never see because the surveys as office numbers have to be right on the money. That will never happen. Only angry people return surveys generally and then the returns are few. So get ready to always work for your current pay
